By O Meien, engl., 254 pages.
O Meien 9p has presented a unusual book. It consists of a complete interview - naturally enriched with Go diagrams - from O Meien with two journalists, in which he tries to explain his understanding of Go in an unconventional way. In the process he talks about good food, baseball, soccer, philosophy and the game of Go itself. The reader stays behind either irritated or enthusiastic - at least the opinions to this book differ that far apart.
Bill Cobb: "O Meien seems to be drunk during the most part of this interview."
David Kent: "O Meien does not provide us with a normal Problem-Anwer-Book. Much more he tries to provoke an experience in the reader - the interview is more about wisdom than knowledge."
